An app providing tailored-made information to small-scale farmers helping them to apply sustainable farming practices. The app is co-created together with coffee farmers in Karnataka, India.
The app guides farmers throughout the whole growing process. By setting up a user profile the advices will be tailor-made for the users. Notifications with day-to-day will given to the user based on his user profile. Calculators for fertilizers and yield estimation are included. Crop establishment, maintenance, pest and disease management, harvesting end post-harvesting practices will all be covered in the app.
My Crop Care was developed in collaboration between the Rainforest Alliance and SmartFarming with agronomic advice from the Coffee Board of India.
