CardioSafe

CardioSafe is a fitness application that helps keep users safer while exercising. Users can enter in their expected duration of exercise, and an emergency contact to message. If a user goes way past their expected duration without turning the timer off, a message is sent to the contact asking him/her to check up on you.

Additionally, users can choose between if they are planning to exercise on land or water. If a user chooses land, they activate a shake timer. In essence, this timer goes off if a user's phone becomes completely still, indicating they have become injured can't reach their phone, gone unconscious, etc. In this scenario, another emergency timer goes off, alerting your emergency contact if not stopped after a couple minutes. No need to worry about this going off accidentally -- the sensor can sense if you are simply walking or taking a pause of rest.

CardioSafe was meant to keep users safer, and runs in the background of your phone so you can open other timer or running apps if need be. Stay safe while exercising, and use CardioSafe!
