★ எள஠ய பதங்கள், எள஠ய நடை, எள஠த஠ல் அற஠ந்து கொள்ளக் கூட஠ய சந்தம், பொது ஜனங்கள் வ஠ரும்பும் மெட்டு, இவற்ற஠னையுடைய காவ஠யம் ஒன்று தந்து தாய்மொழ஠க்குப் புத்துய஠ர் தர வ஠ழைந்த பாரத஠ய஠ன் உணர்ச்ச஠க் காவ஠யம்தான் பாஞ்சால஠ சபதம்.

★ This is a Tamil literary classic depicting a scene of Mahabharata Play, The scene of Playing Dice.
★ Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiyar compares Panchali (Draupadi) with Bharat Mata, the Pandavas with the Indians, the Kauravas with the British and the Kurukshetra war of Mahabharat to that of the Indian freedom struggle. He visualised Draupadi to India and Indian women, who were held by slavery and social clutches of the society.
★ Mahabharata beautifully transposed into Modern India.Bharathiar poetically comparing the above incident with rousing spirit of indian independence.

⇒ Chinnaswami Subramania Bharati, also known as Bharathiyar(ச஠ன்னச்சாம஠ சுப்ரமண஠ய பாரத஠யார்) (11 December 1882 - 11 September 1921) was an Indian writer, poet and journalist, and Indian independence activist and social reformer from Tamil Nadu. Popularly known as "Mahakavi Bharathi", he was a pioneer of modern Tamil poetry and is considered one of the greatest Tamil literary figures of all time.
