رواية البؤساء

البؤساء ، أشهر رواية فرنسية تاريخية في القرن التاسع عشر ، ألفها الكاتب الفرنسي الشهير فكتور هوجو، ونشرت لأول مرة في عام 1862 ، حققت الرواية نسبة مبيعات عالية جدا وخاصة بعد تحويلها لمسرحية وفيلم يحملان نفس الاسم ، ويذكر بأنها أيضا حصلت على العديد من الجوائز ، وقد ترجمت للعديد من اللغات من بينها اللغة العربية .
تدور أحداث الرواية عن الحياة الاجتماعية البائسة التي عاشها الفرنسيون بعد سقوط نابليون في عام 1815 والثورة التي حكم عليها بالفشل ضد الملك لويس فيليب في عام 1832 ، حيث يصور الكاتب المعاناة التي عاشها الفرنسيون من خلال شخصية جان فالجان الذي عانى مرارة السجن وعانى أيضا بعد خروجه منه .
