رواية الخيميائي The Alchemist ، وتعني بالبرتغالية O Alquimista ، ألفها الروائي البرتغالي الشهير باولو كويلي ، وتم نشرها لأول مرة في عام 1988 ، وهي رواية من نوع أدب المغامرة والأدب الخيالي والدرامي ، أدخلت في موسوعة غينيس للأرقام القياسية كأكثر الكتب المترجمة لمؤلفين مازالوا على قيد الحياة ، حيث أنها ترجمت لأكثر من 76 لغة عالمية من بينها العربية حيث تمت ترجمتها من قبل دار الهلال للنشر وترجمها بهاء طاهر في عام 1996 . حصلت الرواية على نسبة مبيعات عالية جدا حتى أنها اعتبرت من أكثر الكتب مبيعا في التاريخ ، حيث تم بيع 65 مليون نسخة منها لأكثر من 150 دولة في العالم .
