We’ve made the difficult decision to begin a phased wind-down of the Zero program and have not been accepting new applications since March 2020. Although the app continues to provide baseline functionality, there are a few known quirks that have surfaced since then. They can usually be fixed without too much trouble by force quitting, or logging out & back in, but we nonetheless apologize for any inconvenience they may cause. We’ve made the difficult but necessary business decision to redirect our product team’s attention to our new flagship banking experience, Level. Level features almost all the benefits of Zero, plus many more. Although there are still no plans to discontinue Zero Checking accounts themselves and our support team is happy to help you with the aforementioned quirks, we will no longer be providing app updates to Zero. We thank you for being great customers and supporters over the last three years and welcome you with open arms to Level. We’ve built it taking into account many of the learnings from Zero, and as long as you’re willing to take the 1-2 minutes needed to apply (which you can do at the website above or in the Level app), we think you’ll love it.
