Your Boards allows you to create interactive media boards containing items which can display a picture or frame from a video and play audio or video (or both) when interacted with.

It was developed with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in mind to facilitate developing communication skills, behaviour management skills and for educational needs such as learning numbers, colours and letters with visuals and sound tailored to the child's needs, enabling the incorporation of their own surroundings and special interests.

It can also be used as a general tool for custom picture, sound and video boards - e.g. to create themed soundboards, learning tools, revision aids... whatever you can think of. That's why they're Your Boards.

Anatomy of a Your Boards board item:

- Name: item names can optionally be displayed when viewing a board and can be toggled on and off using the option menu.

- Picture: pick an image that's on your device, or use your camera from within the app to take a photo.

- Sound: pick an audio file that's on your device, or use your your microphone from within the app to record a sound clip. The audio file will be played when you tap on the item.

- Video: pick a clip from your device or use your camera from within the app to record a video. The video will be played when you tap on the item. If the item doesn't have a sound clip, the video's audio will be played too. You can also customise a start and end point within the video to be played, handy if you're recording video yourself so you don't have to get that perfect take first time!
