Have you ever wondered whether there are other Trump supporters (blue map pin), Women for Trump (pink/purple map pin), Trump campaign leadership (green map pin) or RNC/Trump campaign office (yellow map pin) in the proximity of your workplace or university, church or synagogue, neighborhood, city, state, or simply near you at any given location? With whosnear™, right on your app map, you can locate and anonymously connect with any of the above people and them with you.
Note: All parties remain completely anonymous until they have checked each other out and feel comfortable communicating via phone, or text messaging. For your safety and privacy, your map location within the app is intentionally altered by at least 100 yards, so your exact gps location is not revealed on other app user’s map, but your exact location always appears on your app’s map. When you change locations, your map location doesn’t follow you on the other app user’s map until you click on your map location pin (which is black) and then click “refresh current location.” This will cause your map pin to snap to your present altered position on the other app user’s map. i.e. from your neighborhood to your present location. This option is provided to prevent you from being followed or tracked.
When you click on any colored map pin, the person’s distinctive identifier along with an envelope symbol, will appear above his or her pin. When you click the envelope, a sample message pops up. You can choose to use the sample text as provided or modify it to your own style before sending it. The default message reads: “Hi. I am also a Trump supporter and would like to chat to determine whether combining our support efforts for President Trump might embolden us to be more productive. Please call or text me.”
If you desire, you may opt out of allowing other supporters to contact you via text, but you will still be able to text them. This option may be activated in two ways: - When you register the app for the first time, you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving text messages. Note: Once activated, this option will be active for the life of the app, and you will never receive text messages from other app users. OR - You may wish to allow text messages when you register; if at any time during app activation you prefer not to accept text messages, you may click on the SMS button at the bottom right corner of the map screen. Clicking the SMS button again will allow you to begin receiving text messages again. This option is highly recommended!
