Wakey: Keep your screen on

Wakey: Keep your screen on version history

‹ General Info
Version 5.7.0
Updated 6 years ago
Changelog Some of you will have seen an update recently that removed AppWake. This new update brings AppWake back, but because of some changes I've been required to make, it might not enable and disable as quickly as before, but otherwise, should work the same as before. Please let me know via "Help" (or send an email to [email protected]) if you have issues or if it's working well for you.
Version 5.6.5
Updated 6 years ago
Changelog I have been forced to remove AppWake functionality for now. Rest assured, I am working on a way to bring it back, but for now, I have no choice.

I am also working on a larger update, which will improve compatibility with Android 8 (Oreo). This update will be large, and is taking some time, but I expect some interesting new automations to come with that release. Stay tuned!

Changelog Thanks to those who reported some new issues with Wakey being enabled on Lock Screen - I've made more improvements to fix those issues.

I also found that Widget, Quick Settings Tile, and Notification Actions may have been causing the app to hang - those should not do that anymore.

Please let me know (via Help in the menu) if you have ANY issues, but especially if you see anything wrong in the specific areas mentioned above.

Changelog About a year ago, I moved to a new way of keeping the screen on. While it's been working well, Google's made changes to Android that give it trouble. With this release, on Normal and Brightness Modes, I'm moving back to the old model. Dark Mode will follow soon...

If you run into any issues, please let me know via the Help menu item, or email me at [email protected]. Any problems can be fixed, but only if I know about them. Please - if anything's not right, let me know!
Version 5.4.3
Updated 7 years ago
Changelog An enhancement many people have asked for: selecting AppWake apps is now much quicker and easier. Simply check the apps you want to trigger AppWake, and you are good to go. No more hitting the + icon to add one app at a time!

I've also fixed a ton of bugs & crashes.

As always, if you have any trouble, please contact me via the Help menu. I'm eager to solve any issues!
Version 5.3.1

Changelog New premium feature: FaceWake!

FaceWake uses your device's front-facing camera* to enable Wakey as long as it detects you. It doesn't turn your screen on, but will keep it on while are looking at it. Wakey will enable within 6 seconds of detecting you & will disable within 18 seconds of no longer seeing you.

This release also includes several fixes for AppWake, including a fix for sideloaded apps.

If you have any issues, please use the Help menu.

*Use of the camera requires a new permission
