Vila Vicentina Bauru

A Vila Vicentina Abrigo para Velhos atende hoje 49 idosos entre homens e mulheres, com moradia, alimentação, lazer, oficinas de artesanato entre outras atividades, e profissionais 24 horas que prestam todos os cuidados necessários para o bem-estar de casa idoso.

Atende, também, 20 idosos entre homens e mulheres no Centro Dia, que vem passar o dia na instituição, e recebem alimentação, participam de oficinas de artesanato, passeios, com profissionais que prestam todos os cuidados necessários.

Para qualquer informação de como o idoso pode ser acolhido ou participar do Centro Dia, procurar o CREAS na Rua Alfredo Maia, quadra 1, acompanhado do idoso para avaliação das Assistentes Sociais e se houver a necessidade fazem o encaminhamento para a Vila Vicentina, se houver vagas.

COMO SURGIU A SSVP?

A Sociedade São Vicente de Paulo foi fundada sob a inspiração de São Vicente de Paulo, por Antônio Frederico Ozanam e seus companheiros, no ano de 1.833, em Paris. Esta Entidade, com o correr do tempo, se constituiu em uma fortaleza na defesa dos direitos humanos dos excluídos, zelando pelo restabelecimento do respeito contra as discriminações e violências, buscando evangelizar o homem, protestando contra as injustiças e atuando na salvaguarda da cidadania.

A SSVP acha-se aberta, ecumenicamente, a todas as pessoas de religião cristã desejosas de viver sua fé, testemunhando o amor de Cristo aos mais necessitados, por meio da evangelização e da disponibilidade de servir. Trata-se de uma organização internacional filiada à família vicentina que, no Brasil, está colocada sob a proteção da bem-aventurada Virgem Maria, buscando, através da oração e da ação, diminuir o sofrimento, independentemente de raça, sexo, nacionalidade, credo religioso ou convicção política.

Enfim, os membros da SSVP formam um grupo social que privilegia a defesa dos direitos do homem e o respeito à dignidade, permanecendo alerta às discriminações e violência, buscando sempre aos parâmetros ideais de justiça e solidariedade, imbuídos do espírito de simplicidade e do apostolado cristão, facilitadores da relação fraterna com os irmãos que se encontram em adversidade.

HOW DID SSVP?
