தப்பு சுல்தான், மைசூரன் புல என அழைக்கப்பட்டவர். 1782 ஆம் ஆண்டலருந்து 1799 ஆம் ஆண்டுவரை மைசூரன் அரசை ஆண்டவர். தப்பு சுல்தான் ஹைதர் அலயன் இரண்டாம் தாரமான ஃவாதமாவன் மகனாவார். பரத்தானயப் படைகளுடனான இரண்டாம் ஆங்கல-மைசூர்ப் போரல் ஹைதர் அல வெற்ற பெறுவதற்கு உறுதுணையாய் இருந்த தப்பு தனது தந்தையன் மரணத்தற்குப் பன்னர் மைசூரன் மன்னரானார்.
ஆங்கலேயர்களை இந்தயாவை வட்டு அகற்றுவதற்காக பரான்சன் மாவீரன் நெப்போலயனுடன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை கூட நடத்தனார். மூன்றாம் மற்றும் நான்காம் ஆங்கல-மைசூர்ப் போர்களல் பரத்தானய அரசனாலும் அதன் கூட்டுப் படைகளனாலும் தோற்கடக்கப்பட்டார். மே 4, 1799 ஆம் ஆண்டு தனது ஆட்சத் தலைநகரமான ஸ்ரீரங்கப்பட்டனத்தல் போரன் போது இறந்தார். இவரது வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை நாங்கள் தொகுத்து ஒரு கதை போல வெளயடுவதல் மகழ்ச்ச அடைகறோம். இதனை அவசயம் பதவறக்கம் செய்து படயுங்கள். நச்சயம் காலத்தை கடந்து சென்ற ஒரு உணர்வை வாசகர்கள் அனைவரும் பெறுவீர்கள்.
Tipu Sultan (20 November 1750 - 4 May 1799), (Sultan Fateh Ali Khan Shahab) also known as the Tiger of Mysore, and Tipu Sahib, was a ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore. He was the eldest son of Sultan Hyder Ali of Mysore.
