Tara is a Certified Environmental Technician and has an educational background in Psychology and Genetics. She has been on stage since the age of seven and began modeling and promoting brands globally at the age of eighteen. Originally from New York, Tara has graced the cover of Time Out New York and has appeared in various fashion magazines, movies, commercials and popular music videos worldwide. Most recently she was featured in Selena Gomez’s music video for The Heart Wants What It Wants.
Tara has served as muse and mentor for natural and sustainable businesses on a myriad of different projects. She is the face of La Bella Figura’s all natural and organic makeup line and has played a helping hand in research and development for many popular green brands across the globe. Most recently, TARA: The Glow Collection was launched by Delizioso Skincare in 2015 & inspired by Tara Mackey’s personal journey. 5% of profits go to The Cancer Research Institute, in honor of Tara’s late father.
Tara is currently a contributing writer for Happiness & Wellbeing Magazine, Pop Sugar Fitness, Lucky Magazine and True Luxury Life and spends her time participating in sustainable and eco friendly causes.
