Sacchidanand High School was established in 1987 at Thasra to provide quality and value-based education to the students in Thasra and surrounding villages. It is a Catholic institution run by\nSaccidanand Ashram, Thasra, Gujarat. The word \"Sacchidanand\" is a Sanskrit word Sat+Chit+Anand meaning Truth, Knowledge and Bliss. In India Catholics use this word as Indian equivalent to the word\nTrinity. In 1990 St. Xavier\'s Primary School was started. The primary aim of the institution is to impart value-based education to the children especially economically and socially backward sections\nof the society.
