Surat Al Maidah dan Tafsir

Surah Al-Ma'idah ("Jamuan Hidangan") adalah surah ke-5 dalam Al-Qur'an. Surah ini terdiri dari 120 ayat dan termasuk golongan surah Madaniyah. Sekalipun ada ayat-ayatnya yang turun di Mekkah, namun ayat ini diturunkan sesudah Nabi Muhammad hijrah ke Madinah, yakni sewaktu peristiwa Haji Wada'. Surah ini dinamakan Al-Ma'idah (hidangan) karena memuat kisah para pengikut setia nabi Isa meminta kepada nabi Isa agar Allah menurunkan untuk mereka Al-Ma'idah (hidangan makanan) dari langit (ayat 112). Selain itu, Surah Al-Ma'idah juga disebut Al-Uqud (perjanjian), karena kata itu terdapat pada ayat pertama surah ini, di mana Allah menyuruh agar hamba-hamba-Nya memenuhi janji terhadap Allah maupun perjanjian-perjanjian yang mereka buat terhadap sesamanya. Dinamakan juga Al-Munqidz (yang menyelamatkan), sebab pada bagian akhir surah ini memuat kesaksian Isa Al-Masih terhadap kaum pengikutnya.

Surah Al-Ma'idah ( "Gala dish") is the 5th surah in the Qur'an. This Surah consists of 120 verses and sura belonged Madaniyah. Even if there are verses that fall in Mecca, but this verse was revealed after the Prophet Muhammad migrated to Medina, namely when events Haji Wada '. This Surah is called Al-Ma'idah (entree) for describing the story of the faithful followers of Prophet Jesus asked God's prophet Jesus in order to decrease their Al-Ma'idah (dishes) from heaven (verse 112). Additionally, Surah Al-Ma'idah also called Al-Uqud (agreement), for the word contained in the first verse of this chapter, where God commanded that His servants fulfill the promise to God and the covenants they make on neighbor. Also called Al-Munqidz (saving), because at the end of this chapter contains the testimony of Jesus Christ against his followers.
