The Saiyan Battle Xenoverse for life and death will now begin. A demo was released on October 19. It featured Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin and Dr. Gero as playable characters. Although these
mechanics have stuck with the series, other ideas such as the "Hyper Mode" the ability to move at incredible speeds, fly freely and "Beam Struggles" between two character's beam attacks. were later

As history is being attacked and altered by evil intruders, players will have to become Time Patrollers in order to protect the Past and the Future of the Goku Fight world. The special moves are mainly taken from individual characters own special moves. In addition to the ever-present ki meter, there is a green stamina meter which can be used up to instantly disappear behind an opponent. This meter can also be used up by certain super attacks like the Kaio-ken.
