Summer Dress Design Idea

Living in a cold climate, I go all out for summer. Summer is all about dresses. There are millions of hot summer dress styles out there but these are the most popular, and wearable summer dresses. When choosing a summer dress style or pattern, keep your body type in mind.

There are some inspiration for your summer dress:
Scarf Dresses. I love the scarf dress for summer. The unique patterns evoke a sense of freedom and leisure. Yes, you can't really wear them to work but they're perfect for beach cover-ups, summer BBQ's and even yacht parties. They're a fab piece to own because of their versatility! And the name? Duh, because it looks like it was made from a silk scarf!
- Eyelet Dresses. The eyelet pattern is perfect for summer. I like to take eyelet to a new level by adding on some color. -Floral Dresses. This one is an oldie but a goodie. Who doesn't love florals for summer? There is no better time to wear this vibrant print. Go for as much floral or as little as you'd like. If you're very petite, don't do large flowers as that will overwhelm your frame. My favorite *new trend* for this summer, is to mix and match floral prints with other solid colors and fabrics, like the dress at the right.
-Floral Sun Dress for the Summer. These summer sun dresses are beautiful and elegant in delicate floral patterns and muted colors.
- Layer summer dresses with fur. Fur-lined vests make a cute accent with pastel colored dresses while still keeping you toasty as a bunny. Fur scarves and hats further complete the look. This gives a pleasant contrast between feminine and masculine elements, that otherwise aren't commonly seen. Be unique and stand out from the crowd by pairing furs with pastels.
-Simple Summer sundresses. A simple white sundress can be used to compliment the metallic colors of winter. Pair bold colored summer dresses with trench coats and layer up with scarves, mittens, leggings and socks. The colorful summer dresses can go a long way to keep your wardrobe from looking drab throughout the winter months. They give that needed spark to what would be an otherwise dreary color palette. A great way to winter-up a great floral summer dress is by wearing a cool denim jacket, a light colored scarf, and knee high boots.
-V-Neckline Dresses. Dresses that boast V-necklines are ideal for women with large busts because this style elongates the torso. For this reason, even petite women look good in v-neck styles because the style makes them appear taller. Some women will still need a supportive bra to look their best in their v-neck dresses. No matter what your chest size, it's a good idea to get professionally fit so you can procure the right bra to complement your summer wardrobe.
Ruffle-Top Dresses. Ruffles are frilly, fun, and feminine. They are perfect for women with small chests as they add volume and create dimension. Again, the right bra can also help create a smart look. You can choose a lightweight style in a summery color that will complement your summer wardrobe.
