The objective of the Kakuro puzzle is to insert a digit from 1 to 9 inclusive into each white cell such that the sum of the numbers in each entry matches the clue associated with it and that no digit is duplicated in any entry. Each row, column, and nonet contains each number exactly once.

KENKEN
As in Sudoku, the goal of each KenKen puzzle is to fill a grid with digits - - 1 through 9 for a 9×9 grid - - so that no digit appears more than once in any row or any column (a Latin square).
