StockMob is a social exchange simulation game. You and your firends can create a group and compete with each other at stock trading. At the beginning everybody in your groups starts with 100.000 USD cash. Within a period of one year, everybody got the chance to multiply their money by buying and selling stocks and ETFs on the stock market. The person with the highest value holding wins the game.
So, how do you get startet?
Everybody of your group must download the app and created an account. One of your group members (e.g. you) must create a group. A group can be either public or password protected. While you are creating a group, you can specify a start date. Before this date no trade is possible. After you created the group everybody can join the group and wait for the start date.
And how do you trade?
Just open the group and go to the market tab. You can view and search stocks there. Just click on buy to create an order. Orders will be fulfilled with the next "real" trade on the exchange the stock is listed. You can find all your shares in the depot. The depot is also the place where you can sell your shares. For every sell and buy order a order fee must be payed.
Whats the best strategy?
That is up to you! This is the big question. You can see who is the best of your group in the leader board. If you are not lucky enough to be the first, you can see which shares other people have in their depot. Maybe you get an idea which strategy is more efficient than yours.
Our hint is to not just copy a strategy, because a copy cat can not overpass the master.
The app supports USD, EUR and GBP. You can trade the listed stocks of the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ and XETRA.
