Star Partner program targets two profiles, viz., on-ground sales staff and retailers PAN India for an FMCG brand. The program has been created to motivate, engage and reward them. Two profiles will be created on the App, namely, MD and Retailer. MD is alternatively know as MGR/Distributor Salesman/PSR - all will be henceforth referred to as MD in this write-up. The App is for multiple languages, viz., English (default), Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Punjabi may be added later.
User flow for MD Profile:
1. For 1st time login: MD has to enter mobile no. (unique identifier) -> receives OTP -> maps to a Sales Executive (his supervisor mobile number sitting in our backend) -> Selects language (which changes the App script) -> Enters name -> Agrees to T&C -> Watches a tutorial video -> Homescreen. In case the MD gets logged out, he'll simply enter his mobile no. -> enter OTP -> and see Homescreen. Same process is followed by retailers, with the exception, they map to an MD after OTP. The MD has to be signed up on the App.
2. On the Homescreen:
a. The MD sees Announcement banner on top - which could be linked to a video hosted on Youtube
b. The menu bar on top consists of profile and accrued points
c. Three tiles under announcement banner: 'Enrollments', 'Activations', Leader board'
d. Enrolments - MD can enrol retailers by adding their name, store name, mobile no. and address. Although the MD can enrol a retailer, the retailer remains 'Unverified' in the MD's list until the retailer signs up on the App. The MD can view enrolled retailers on this screen as well. Apart from this, the retailer may sign-up himself without being enroled by an MD.
e. Activations - An activation is basically a visit to the retailer outlet and clicking two pictures of the store. On completing this, MD gets 100 points. No limit on the number of activations on one outlet or the time of day to perform an activation. Please note: Although an MD can 'Activate' and 'Unverified retailer' the points from this activation will be credited to his account only once the retailer is verified.
f. Leader board - MDs will have a unit-wise leader board. Leader boards will be populated basis who has the highest points. In case of a tie, MD scoring the points first will get a higher rank compared to an MD scoring same points even a minute later. That's how each rank will be unique. MDs are being rewarded with cashback based on their week-on-week leader board ranks. Different reward budgets have been assigned to different units, hence unit wise leaderboards.
g. In the global bottom menu - MD can access his 'My Winnings' (credited W-o-W basis leader board rank), Home, Profile Menu, Notifications
3. Profile Menu - consists of Edit Profile link, App Settings, My Winnings, Winners (list of week-on-week) winners, Logout, App Feedback, Contact Us page. Same menu is provided to retailers.
User Profile for Retailers:
1. On the Homescreen: retailer will see two tiles apart from having the same menu bar on top and bottom as mentioned above:
a. Activities - these are quiz and camera based activities, where the retailer has to complete a short quiz or take a picture of some collateral at his store. In some camera based activities, we'll match this collateral to a pre-loaded one, in others, they simply upload a photo. Every activity completed fetches them 100 points. 1 Activity shows up on the app every day, on completing this, retailers can access a Daily Wheel of Fortune which has cash back rewards. On completing 3/6 activities in a week, retailers can access Weekly Wheel of Fortune, with higher cashback denominations. Similarly at the end of the program there will be a Weekly Wheel of Fortune which will unlock on doing 30 activities in total. Retailers can complete pending activities in case they do not complete the day's activity in time. However, they will miss the Daily Wheel of Fortune for that day.
