A saint is a person who is recognized as having an exceptional degree of holiness, likeness or closeness to God.

We should know more about our saints. To know more about their life devotions and see how deep their faith is in Christ.

Our app is a humble attempt to assist those to further know our saint, specifically Saint Joseph.

Joseph is a figure in the Gospels, the husband of Mary(mother of Jesus) and is venerated as Saint Joseph in the Catholic Church.
In both Catholic and Protestant traditions, Joseph is regarded as the patron saint of workers and is associated with various feast days. Pope Pius IX declared him to be both the patron and the protector of the Catholic Church, in addition to his patronages of the sick and of a happy death, due to the belief that he died in the presence of Jesus and Mary.

In popular piety, Joseph is regarded as a model for fathers and has also become patron of various dioceses and places.

Joseph is the patron saint of the dying because, assuming he died before Jesus' public life, he died with Jesus and Mary close to him, the way we all would like to leave this earth.
Besides that, Joseph is also the patron saint of the Universal Church, families, fathers, expectant mothers, travelers, immigrants, house sellers and buyers, craftsmen, engineers, and working people in general.

We celebrate two feast days for Joseph: On March 19 for Joseph the Husband of Mary and on May 1 for Joseph the Worker. March 19 has been the most commonly celebrated feast day for Joseph, and it wasn't until 1955 that Pope Pius XII established the Feast of "St. Joseph the Worker" to be celebrated on May 1. This is also May Day, also known as International Workers' Day and believed to reflect Joseph's status as the patron of workers.

Although there is a lot we don’t know about St. Joseph, but we do know that he loved Jesus as his own son, he respected God and he was a righteous man.

In our humble app, you will find information on Saint Joseph, including a short life biography, St. Joseph feast days, St. Joseph novena prayers and Christian prayers of St. Joseph.
