Solids RA is an application aimed at teaching geometry with augmented reality. It allows the visualization and manipulation of geometric solids from the reading of QR codes by an Android smartphone or tablet. Download and print the material with the QR codes used by Sólidos RA on the app's information screen, or on the link available at the end of this description.

Solids RA has five modules: Visualization, Nets, Creation, Modeling and Geoboard.

In the Visualization module, a collection of 42 geometric solids is available for the user to visualize and interact with. The application has different ways of viewing solids, showing or not showing edges and vertices, and making faces transparent or opaque. It is also possible to change the height at which the solids are presented in relation to the QR Code, rotate and scale the objects.

In the Nets module, a collection of 6 geometric solids is available with an interactive flat pattern animation.

In the Creation module, the user has at his disposal an environment to create his own augmented reality scene from primitive objects, namely: the cube, the sphere, the cone, the cylinder, the pyramid and the semi-sphere. The user can use translation, rotation and scale operations to transform these primitive elements and generate scenes according to their creativity.

In the Modeling module, you use various QR codes to model geometric figures, from two-dimensional figures such as polygons and circles, to three-dimensional objects such as prisms, pyramids and trunks of pyramids, cones and trunks of cones.

In the Geoboard module, you have at your disposal a virtual geoplan to which you can add lines, plane and three-dimensional figures.
