You do not need to type in a text message, since this may not be possible during an emergency situation. Instead you simply choose a template message with a single click.

Each template message contains the following information -

1. Emergency Service required (Police, Fire Brigade, or Ambulance)
2. Your current location (Latitude and Longitude)
3. A category of the emergency (Assault, Robbery, Terrorism, Accident, Injury, Illness, Fire, Trapped, Gas Leak)

An example of a message would be
POLICE. ASSAULT at LOCATION - Latitude = ....., Longitude = .....,

To protect the user from making accidental emergency call outs - the send button must be tapped 3 times - followed by a confirmation dialog.
