BIOGRAPHY
Lil miss Siena, derives
From Italian, Bulgarian and Irish English roots.
From an early age Siena had always grasped music, it was her escapism from everything she found difficult.
Siena found that through writing songs she could clearly express her hardships with feelings.
She states “Lisa Lopez was one of my greatest rap influences, whilst I was growing up, because I felt spiritually connected to her tone and flow.”
Siena also found herself listening to “Lil Kim & DMX” for further afflatus.
Rapping became a hobby for her and when Siena was not writing bars, well she was dancing her way through ballet, tap and street dance.
In 2004, Siena moved to Ibiza for two years and enjoyed the sensation of being a free spirit. In 2006, she came back to the UK, but found it difficult to blend back into to culture. Siena insists, “Mediterranean influences are built in my blood.” So not surprisingly after a year of living back in the UK, she decided to travel to Tenerife where she settled for three years.
Drawing influence from island life Siena began to write heavily, she found the ocean had opened her mind innovatively whilst writing.
It was during this time that her ingenuity took on another form and she made the conscious decision, to use the Mediterranean influence, that she adored incorporating it into her writing.
