This is an APP based on "Discussion on guidance using indoor positioning information inside Terminal Station" hosted by Tokyo Municipality, and its operation aims to survey the actual usage situation.

To promote the construction of an environment where passengers at Shinjuku Station can move more smoothly, we are eager to get your valuable opinion!

Within the scope of Shinjuku Terminal Council
(Not including the following sections)

After using our APP, please participate in the survey through the banner in our APP.

[1] Indoor map display
·Establishment of indoor maps for different floors inside the complicated Shinjuku Station
·You can see each floor on the screen and change floor as you like
·Information of Shinjuku East-West Free Access has been included in the map
·Guidance of indoor facilities in Japanese and English
[2] Indoor position display
Thanks to geomagnetic and Wi-Fi information, etc., you can get your actual position even indoor where the GPS signal is inaccessible.
[3] Indoor route search
·You can search walking route indoors
·There are standard or step avoidance as the walking route

[Attention]
It's very dangerous to watch the screen or operate a smartphone while walking. When using the APP, please follow the relevant rules, and confirm the safety of yourself and surrounding before using it.

•About APP usage
Please use our APP at an environment where the web such as Wi-Fi is accessible.
In addition, please turn on the Bluetooth.

• About elevator priority
Elevators inside commercial facilities are not within the guidance section of this actual usage survey.
In routes where elevators are not available, you will be guided to use escalators or stairs.

•About stairs on the same floor
There are standard or step avoidance (elevator priority, escalator priority) as the walking route, but if there are stairs on the same floor, they will be shown beyond the step avoidance section.

•About area without indoor map
When you enlarge the area without indoor map, the screen will show you a white background.
Please select global mode and confirm the position on the global map.

• About outdoor guidance
Outdoor guidance is beyond the guidance capacity of our APP.
Route guidance is available only within the scope of Shinjuku Terminal Council.

•Change language
You can change between Japanese and English in the Setting menu below.

•About the APP for actual usage survey
Since it is an APP of experiment, there may be errors.
In case of error, please turn off the APP and restart it.

•About shop and facility information displayed
The displayed shop and facility information was updated at 2021/05/21 so please notice that there may be change of such information after that date.

• About the accuracy problem caused by the station improvement project
From 2021/06/01 to the end of July, Metro Promenade will be under a station improvement project. As a result, the accuracy of indoor postioning will be lowered.
There will be upgrade of accuracy after the station improvement project finishes.
