Please make sure that the app is set according to your custom (minhag). 18 minutes before Sunset (Shkiah) is the default Candle Lighting Zman, but some minhagim are different. You can customize all the Zmanim according to your minhag.

As with all Halachic Zmanim apps, do not rely on the times down to the last moment.
