Flights on Albanian territory are numerous and in order to have control over every fight route or for better coordination, an "Electronic Flight Authorisation System" has been created. This electronic system has been developed for the issuance of flight permits to the Civil Aviation Authority.
The Electronic Flight Authorisation System can be considered an air customs office. This system checks, reviews, issues and approves "flight permits."
All administration and review of documentation submitted by stakeholders or operators is carried out through the Flight Permits Coordination Sector system, which is also the structure responsible for issuing and approving flight permits and guarantees.
Through the implementation of the online web-based platform, which serves for the electronic registration of flight permits, the following has been achieved:
- Construction of electronic registration permit for flight permits
- Integration of electronic signature, using the Government Infrastructure of Public Keys of NAIS for users involved in the system
Online register.
An online registry has been established to regulate the way of issuing flight permits and the practice of issuing flight permits in the Republic of Albania as this way leads to the discipline of the process, avoids possible delays, increases quality, increases the effectiveness and transparency of this the process and also the status of real-time flight permits can be viewed.
This system has high level security.. The security of online applications is guaranteed by the platform set up by AKSHI on the e-Albania portal. Each event saves logs according to procedures. These logs are auditable, according to the logging policies and back-up according to the regulations in force.
