Anthony Santos (Bronx, Nueva York, Estados Unidos 21 de julio de 1981), más conocido por su nombre artístico Romeo Santos, es un cantautor estadounidense. Es apodado en la mayor parte de América Latina como El Rey de la Bachata por haber sido el líder, vocalista y compositor principal de la agrupación Aventura. Como miembro de Aventura, Santos ha sido una figura clave en la popularización de la bachata a nivel internacional, llevando temas al top de las listas de Billboard Latino y a los charts de Europa.

En 2002, la canción Obsesión ocupó el #1 en Italia por 16 semanas consecutivas. Luego de varios discos con la agrupación Aventura, Romeo anunció su separación de la agrupación para lanzarse como solista en abril de 2011. Desde entonces, Romeo ha lanzado su carrera solista, logrando siete sencillos #1 en el Hot Latin Chart, y ocho #1 en el Hot Tropical Songs Chart, en cuatro años.

Anthony Santos (Bronx, New York, United States July 21, 1981), better known by his stage name Romeo Santos, he is an American singer-songwriter. It is nicknamed in most of Latin America as The King of Bachata for being the leader, vocalist and main songwriter of the group Aventura. As a member of Aventura, Santos has been a key figure in popularizing bachata internationally, bringing issues to the top of the Billboard Latin charts and Europe.

In 2002, the song Obsessed ranked # 1 in Italy for 16 consecutive weeks. After several albums with the group Aventura, Romeo announced his separation from the group to pursue a solo career in April 2011. Since then, Romeo has launched his solo career, achieving seven easy # 1 Hot Latin Chart, eight No. 1 in the Tropical Hot Songs Chart in four years.
