Muslims believe that the Holy Quran is the last book of God's book, which was revealed to His Messenger Muhammad. Therefore, they consider that reciting Qur'aan and listening to it and practicing it are all acts of worship by which the Muslim draws closer to Allaah to reassure his heart. Most believe that they are the basis of their civilization and culture, and that they have begun their rise in all spheres of life, religious and worldly. Dr. Wasfi Ashour Abu Zeid said:

   The Holy Quran is the immortal book of this nation, its comprehensive constitution, its Wahhabi monarch, and its faithful leader. It is also the eternal book of the Islamic call and its guide to the movement at all times. It has great importance in the life of the individual, the family, the community and the nation. Conscience and thought, and legislates to preserve the family entity, which is peaceful and affectionate and compassionate. It also addresses the building of the human society, which allows this person to improve the use of the potentials of society and seeks the strong and cohesive nation that bears witness to the two worlds.
