Have you ever wanted to set up a tournament with your friends but can never decide how to schedule the matches? Quick Tournament Maker strives to take away the hassle of deciding by creating the schedule for you.

Features:

1) Quick Start

Use quick start to quickly create a tournament schedule by using numbers to reference each player. Just simply assign each player a number, input the number of players and start the tournament. This will save time by skipping the task of adding every player into the database and choosing the appropriate ones for each tournament.

2) Full Start

Use full start when you want to use actual names for each player (or team) for the created tournament schedule. But before you do a full start, you must add some players into the database in the Management screen. Then, when you do a full start, pick your participants and start the tournament.

3) Elimination (Bracket)

Also known as a bracket tournament, each player will be paired with one another. The winners of each pair will advance to the next round while the losers will be eliminated completely. This continues until one winner emerges. When the number of players is not a power of 2 (eg 2, 4, 8, 16), then some players will automatically advance to round 2 from round 1, also known as receiving a Bye.

4) Double Elimination

Similar to an elimination tournament except players are eliminated from the tournament if he or she loses twice. When a player loses for the first time, he or she will be brought into another pool of players known as the Loser Bracket. The same process will occur in the Loser Bracket as the process in the Winner Bracket. When the two winners (one from the Winner Bracket and one from the Loser Bracket, call them A and B respectively) emerges, then these two players will be paired up into the Final Bracket. A only needs to defeat B once to win the tournament while B needs to defeat A twice.

5) Round Robin

Each player will be paired up against every other player exactly once. The players will be ranked according to his or her score based on wins, ties and losses. The scoring logic goes like this: The player with the most win count will be ranked highest. If two players tie in win count, then we look at their loss count and the one with less will be ranked higher. If two players tie in loss count, then we look at their tie count and the one with more will be ranked higher. If there is an odd number of players, then everyone will skip participating in a round eventually, also known as receiving a Bye.

6) Swiss

A hybrid between an elimination and round robin tournament. Every player will play every round that exist but does not play every other player and no player will be eliminated from the tournament before the end. Players are paired based on approximately how well he or she have performed so far. In the first round, players are paired according to some pattern outside on constraints of a Swiss tournament (randomly or custom seeding for this app). Then in subsequent rounds, players are sorted according to their cumulative scores and are assigned opponents with the same or similar score up to that point. This tournament is best when the number of players are a power of 2 (eg 2, 4, 8, 16).

7) Survival

Each player are not paired up against each other in this type of tournament. Each player will be eliminated (doesn\'t have to be limited to 1 elimination) per round and the rest will advance to the next round. Continue until one or more winners emerge. The maximum amount of rounds is the number of players minus 1 because it is assumed at least 1 player gets eliminated per round.

8) Save and Load your tournaments

Save and reload your tournaments whenever you want.
