The Pregnancy & Parenthood application, updated for 2018, provides important Navy administrative guidance for Servicemembers who are starting or expanding their families, as well as for their Command leadership. The app includes Navy guidance regarding assignments, retention, separation, standards of conduct and much more.
Pregnancy and parenthood can be compatible with a successful military career when Sailors and their Commands both understand their roles and responsibilities. This app makes that task easier by including pertinent regulations, instructions and references from a variety of sources in one easy-to-use app.
The app helps Servicemembers understand the personal and professional responsibilities that come with parenthood while serving in the Navy. At the same time, the app offers Command leadership and Supervisors information regarding their roles, appropriate expectations and required actions when advising Servicemembers who are starting or expanding a family.
