Objective:
---------------
This App is not to teach a Hindi speaking person how to speak English. This App is for people who can understand English when someone speaks out to them, but can’t themselves say the same thing. So in case you have already crossed Level A, the App will help you get to Level C from Level B.

In other words, the App is to assist you where:

1) You want to take your English to a level notch higher.
2) You understand and even speak English before your Boss / Business Associates. But when it comes to speaking English before your spouse/ friends/ children, you seem to be looking for words.
3) (for Kids) If you are in an English medium school, but still has not developed a habit of speaking English at home. Your parents feel that you are shy but actually, you don’t know how to say what you want to say.

Problem:
-------------
English is our second language. We speak Hindi only at our homes. The English that we Indians (most of the Indians) are used to speak is Business English. We spend 9-11 hours of our day at our workplace, where we are exposed to Business English, and that makes us learn the same. But there is a limited set of sentences possible when we talk in the context of business dealing. So we are gasping for words when we are at home talking to spouse/ friends/ others. Who is going to give us that exposure?

Solution:
-------------
How have we learned Hindi? No one explained any "Grammar" to us. Then how come we know flawless Hindi? Simple - We heard our parents saying Hindi sentences over and over again when we were toddlers. Over the time, we heard and even told these thousands of times ourselves. And the process gradually became automatic. It's like saying your name when someone asks you your name, or saying 4 when asked 2x2. You don't think before answering. You have said your name or 2x2=4 so many times that it comes out automatically. Hindi with us comes out automatically. Practice is the key.

What's actually happening? Our minds map “a certain context” to “a certain sentence” and voila we know the language if we can say that sentence when that context comes up again (without thinking). This is what the App intends to do. It has the context and the English line. So keep on repeating (if possible aloud) these sentences and a day will come when you’ll blurt that out right at the opportune moment (when the context presents itself). Brain mapping completes. Once that's done, you don't think in Hindi and translate into English. Your brain gives you direct English line. Practice pays.

That’s particularly the reason that the sentences have been kept to appear in a random order so that more practice is possible. Like you learned Hindi in your childhood, learn these sentences now.

It's imperative that the concerned Hindi sentence is not spoken aloud, but only the English one. We are here to practice English sentences and not Hindi ones. The role of Hindi sentences is therefore only to give you the situation/ context. If possible, repeat each English sentence at least thrice aloud.

If the mere number of sentences (more than 3800) combined with randomness is overwhelming, it is suggested to save some sentences (30-50) in your "Saved Items" at a time and practice only on these till you are comfortable. Read FAQ.

No excuse - it's a slow process, crude process but the only process.

Note:
-----------
PLEASE UPDATE DATABASE IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLING THE APP (and keep on updating at regular intervals). That adds new sentences and even corrects the earlier mistakes. However, the App works absolutely fine in OFFLINE mode. You need to go online only to update database.

Happy practicing!
