The PoisonHelp app is a great public health and disaster preparedness tool that is available for both the general public and health care providers through the Apple and Android markets. Not only does the PoisonHelp app provide easy access to a local Poison Control Center for poison information or emergency assistance, but it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the United States (US). The free and confidential call to the PoisonHelp hotline, 1-800-222-1222, connects you to a live nurse or pharmacist that can provide translation services in every language. The PoisonHelp app also provides important information for all age groups in both the English and Spanish language.
