To make Chasing fun, score points with our trivia quiz. To keep it stress-free, our questions are all multiple choice, we give you hints, a detailed map, images and the answers too if you like. The Chase is challenging but the answers are always within reach. If you are just not in the mood, skip the quiz and simply enjoy the tour.

PlaceChase Central Park takes you on a journey through the development of this most iconic NYC gem, from its inception as a settlement of free African-Americans, well north of and outside of 1850s New York City, to its present-day status as a must-see destination in the heart of Manhattan. Explore the ways the Park has changed with the City, and marvel at the outlandish plans that never came to pass. Meet a cast of characters that ranges from ‘Commissioner of Everything’ Robert Moses, to the Free Masons who believed in a Christian society that pre-dated the birth of Christ by a millennium or more, to the surprisingly house-proud residents of the Depression-era Hooverville on the Great Lawn.
PlaceChase is a great way to explore the City on your own or with friends and family. Kids will truly enjoy the Chase and its competitive take on sightseeing. PlaceChase will entertain, whether you are on vacation, a day out in the city, a first date or are celebrating an anniversary, as a tourist or as a native New Yorker.
As you explore the Park, we offer 10 opportunities for a deep-dive, clearly identified on our map. Experience them in their entirety, or dip into them as you choose. We suggest a route that incorporates all 10 Place, but you may enjoy as many as you want, in any order you choose, in one session or over time. Along the way you will be asked trivia questions related to each Place, that you may answer to score points if competition is your thing, or simply skip if you are just interested in exploring the often overlooked nooks and crannies of the Park.
Once downloaded, no GPS or other connectivity is required. Once purchased, the Chase is yours. You can play it as often as you like and share the experience with friends and family whenever you choose.
