SIM (Surat Ijin Mengemudi) adalah bukti registrasi dan identifikasi yang diberikan oleh Polri kepada seseoraang yang telah memenuhi persyaratan administrasi, sehat jasmani dan rohani, memahami peraturan lalu lintas dan trampil mengemudikan kendaraan bermotor.
