* The first app to use handwriting recognition and speech recognition for teaching Japanese Kanji characters.
* Memorise characters using your motor memory... by DRAWING them!
* Learn correct pronunciation with ASR (speech recognition) and TTS (speech synthesis).
* Test your pronunciation of Japanese words
* Covers all pronunciations - onyomi, kunyomi, etc
* Pronunciations displayed in Romaji or Hiragana
* Asks you to speak complex sentences, listens to your pronunciation and tells you if it was correct.

REQUIREMENTS
* Your phone should support Kanji handwriting recognition (Google Handwriting input, Japanese option). If it's not already there you can enable it by searching Play Store for Google Handwriting and installing it.
* If it's already on your phone you can find it under Settings -> Language & Input -> Keyboard & Input Methods if you look for Japanese.
* Your phone should also support Japanese ASR and TTS.
TROUBLESHOOTING
* In order to make the speech recognition work, you will need to go to Settings -> Language and Input and make sure that ASR is enabled and Japanese ASR is installed.
* Make sure you haven't installed Chinese by mistake!
* If there's an option to download Japanese ASR for offline use then try that, otherwise you won't be able to play the game without an internet connection.
* If the character recognition doesn't work or gives an error, then make sure Google Handwriting Input is installed and enabled in Settings. To switch your keyboard to character recognition you may have to hold down the space bar to select Japanese language, then there should be an option to select input by drawing character instead of Romaji or Hiragana.
* You should make sure you are inputting characters by drawing them, as the point of this app is to learn how to write Japanese characters!
* In any case, if you only want to practice speaking, or only writing, or your phone doesn't support one of these functionalities, you can select only speaking or only writing in the main menu.
