I have developed a calculator apps to help planters to check and get correct herbicides, insecticides and fungicides dosage to control weeds and P & D in oil palm cultivation.
Oil Palm Pesticides Calculator Apps divided into 5 parts. The 1st is Sprayer Calibration Calculator. The blue icon provides the information needed to fill up in the column. The other features available in the apps are Herbicides Mixing Calculator, Insecticide Calculator and Fungicide Calculator. The last part is short write up on *general weed and P & D management guide for quick references points for planters.
Since planters on move most of the time and carries smartphones, using an app as quick references will be very helpful. Calibrated nozzles and correct dosage of pesticides usages are important elements to give a good satisfactory kill. This will reduce the over dosage pesticides usages and will be one of the cost saving method to make sure correct amount of pesticides been used.
The upgraded apps been linked to Google Lens for Weed/Pest Identification and Translation for earlier communication with plantation workers.
