Inizialmente popolato da pochi amici che si divertivano a scrivere tra il serio e il faceto, oggi è diventato una realtà con più di 270.000 messaggi e più di 4000 Odontoiatri iscritti. Il sito contiene un forum diviso per sezioni in cui tutti gli iscritti possono inserire casi clinici con foto o semplicemente scrivere per scambiarsi informazioni su corsi, congressi, nuove tecniche o materiali. Ogni sezione è monitorata da un moderatore che ha il compito di stimolare discussioni ad alto valore scientifico e rispondere a quesiti posti dai colleghi. Quando il numero degli iscritti ce lo ha consentito, abbiamo deciso di allargare le attività del sito per rendere possibile la realizzazione di quello che è lo spirito di ODONTOline: unire e condividere. The site contains a forum divided into sections in which all members can enter clinical cases with pictures or just write to exchange information about courses, conferences, new techniques or materials. Each section is monitored by a moderator who has the task of stimulating discussions of high scientific value, and respond to questions raised by colleagues. When the number of members allowed it to us, we decided to expand the site's activity to make possible the realization of what is the spirit of ODONTOline: to unite and share.
