It provides you the capability of blocking notifications for apps in customized way. It can be customized like:
1.) All the notifications for an app can be blocked by checking 'All' option in app notification list.
2.) Individual notifications for apps can be blocked by first adding them to the list of app notifications and then checking the newly created option under the app title.
3.) User can keep the history of all/blocked notifications by setting the option from settings. It is helpful when some app does not provide the feature of keeping notification history while those can be important.
All the things can be done WITHOUT ROOTING YOUR DEVICE.
Make sure the application to work you need to grant access to application for notification from settings.

Open the application and if access has not been provided then it will take you to the this setting on a button click.
In case the app is not working and you want to check if the access is granted or not then just reopen it, pop-up will come if access is disabled.
An example of blocking individual notification in an app: Suppose you want to block the notifications in your messaging app for some of the recipients but at the same time want to receive all the messages in your inbox that you can review later, even of the ones whose notifications you have blocked, Simply add the sender as an option in 'messaging' app's list (long press the app name to add a new notification in the app) and check this option under messaging app's title. You would not receive the notification for messages from that person/number but those would be saved in your inbox which you can check later.
