What helps you feel good? What makes you experience periods of increased tension? Which activities improve your wellbeing? Find out - with the MindCare App!

MindCare regularly asks you how are feeling and what you are doing, giving you increased clarity over time about the causes behind both feelings of tension and positive moods. With the app you will be able to see patterns that you hadn't noticed before and will easily be able to learn which actions to take in order to improve your mental health.

The basic idea behind the app stems from evidence-based psychotherapies (cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)). Particularly those affected by depression, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, addictions, anxiety or post-traumatic stress are often encouraged to document their wellbeing. Anyone who is receiving cognitive behaviour therapy can use the app to, for example, create very easily a daily dairy or mood diary. For those receiving dialectical behaviour therapy, they can use the app to see how their feelings of tension change over time or to fill out a dairy card.

The app is not a medical product and does not serve to diagnose or treat diseases. Similar to a diary, the app simply helps you to record your experiences so that you can access them later and take another look at them.

If you are currently suffering from a mental illness (e.g. depression, borderline personality disorder, anxiety disorder, bulimia, alcohol or drug addiction), it is essential that you get in touch with a doctor or psychotherapist.
