MetzRemote brings Metz-like ease of use to your smartphone/tablet.

Compatibility: Function and ease of use work best with Metz Classic TV generation Ch.618, Ch.616 and Ch.613 (Topas, Fineo, Alegra, Calea, Micos, Novum, Planea, Pureo, Clarea, Merio Media Z, Solea, Solea pro, Primus 550). Earlier network-enabled models may vary in compatibility and functionality.

For best possible usage we recommend to update your TV software.

The app is not compatible with Metz Blue devices.

Short instruction:
- Your mobile device and Metz TV should be in the same network
- Activate in your Metz TV Menu/Network/Local services "Allow MetzRemote" app

The app provides several functions:

NEW:
Mediaserver
To use this feature, activate in your Metz TV Menu/Network/Local Services "Allow Mediaplayer" and set "Media Server" on "Active".
- Stream your local pictures, videos and music on your Metz TV.
- Watch your PVR-recordings, Live-TV or media from other DLNA server on your mobile device*.

Remote Control
- TV-functions: Select from up to 30 TV-shortcut functions your favorite ones.
- Stations: Navigation to stations and favorite lists by click.
- Text-input: Simply fill out text dialogs on TV with your mobile keyboard.
- Weblinks: Save your websites and open them on your Metz-TV.

EPG- Electronic programme guide
- Get overview of current and future programs
from your favorite list.
- Create record and/or reminder for programs.

Internet timer
Create records on the go with this smart web-app.

Station Editor
The fourth function allows you to manipulate your station table. Using the Station Editor you can easily modify your station table with your smartphone and synchronize changes with the TV set. Besides moving, renaming and removing stations from your station table, you can also create and manage all favorite lists by adding or removing stations.

Wake On LAN
With the fifth function Wake On LAN you can start network devices from standby. With this function you can also wake up every device supporting the Wake On LAN standard, not only Metz TV sets.

Useful hints:

#Remote Control
- In the main view the size of the buttons can be adjusted with two-finger-zoom input.
- Pressing the button on the bottom right leads to all buttons, which are not available in the main view.

#Station Editor
- Synchronizing your modified station table with your TV set overrides its table. It is recommended to create a backup of your station table, using the export functionality of the TV set, to prevent data loss.
- Moving stations is triggered by long pressing a station list entry. You can not only move single stations, but multiple selected stations.
- Using the additional editing mode (triggered by selecting a station) you move, remove of rename stations.

#EPG
- Sync your app with the current available EPG events from TV by clicking on 'sync' button/icon in navigation bar.
- For recording or reminding choose one single event from the EPG overview. Here you will also find additional program information.
- In "settings" you can select a favorite list for your EPG events.
- Be sure to connect a storage device for the records.

#Wake On LAN
- Tapping a list entry send the wake up signal to the corresponding device.
- Long pressing an entry allows to edit or remove it.
If your device does not respond to the sent wake up signal make sure that your device is a) currently in standby, b) in the right wifi network or c) you entered the MAC address correctly.
