Being well dressed is doubly beneficial, both for the image you have of yourself and for the one you send back. Keep the basics in classic colors, well-groomed shoes, well-cut jackets and finally traditional coats. Here are examples of "good basics": gray t-shirt, white or blue shirt, beige or khaki chino, raw jeans, etc. But I'll tell you more later.

THE POINTS TO WATCH AND THE PIECES TO KEEP ARE:
For all clothes, check their condition. They must not :
- have holes or be deformed;
- have faded colors;
- have cracked flockings;
- to fray at the feet;
- worn on the collar or sleeves;
- and overall be in good shape (you know what I mean!).

SORT THE COLORS!
Set aside all the garish colors (fuchsia, apple green, carmine red, violet ...).
Avoid the outdated patterns of the 80s, flocking advertising or questionable details ... (Border, etc ...).
For scratches, no problem! Shirts or jackets support this pattern very well.
Keep plain colored pieces, they are versatile and easy to combine.

T-SHIRT. THE RIGHT SIZE FOR A T-SHIRT CAN BE DEFINED AS :
the seam of the sleeve (at the level of the shoulder) must arrive at the level of your " acromion " above the junction between your torso and your arm (it is very precise!).
The short sleeves must be in the middle of the biceps, and the long sleeves at the junction between the wrist and forearm without overflowing on the hand (a bit like a casual shirt: read our tips below).

SHIRTS:
The shirts should be bent without tightening, with the sleeves coming at the junction between the wrist and the forearm. To read: how to choose the sleeve length of a chic or casual shirt.
The length does not matter if you bring it back into the pants. But if you wear a casual shirt, such as an Oxford model out of your pants, the length must be perfect, i.e. to arrive exactly at the level of your belt. Neither too low nor too high!
SWEATERS / CARDIGANS:
As for t-shirts, the seam of the sleeve (at the level of the shoulder) must arrive at the level of your "acromion".
Check the wear on the elbows and underarms, which are the most exposed parts of the holes.
The size must be the right one, neither too big nor too small. For a winter sweater (big wool sweater), it is possible to predict that it is a little larger to wear a sweater underneath without being too tight.

PANTS:
Your pants should be well cut and should marry your leg loosely.
The hem of your pants must be made, whether it is simple or returned (I have a preference for the latter, which allows to have pants that falls better on the shoe). Many stores offer to make your hems for free at the time of purchase, so do not hesitate.
Be careful of holes and wear in the crotch, knees, buttocks and hems.

SHOES:
Keep your pairs of classic shoes: jockey, derby, boots, moccasin, brogue.
If you had the good idea to buy some, throw out your square toe shoes!! Do the same with the shoes with holes.

JACKETS:
Keep classic blazer jackets in a neutral material (cotton, wool) and a classic color (black, blue, gray).
Your jackets must be your size and perfectly cut.
You can separate jackets too big, hole, stained or totally out of time!

COATS:
Keep your pea coat blue, black or olive green.
Also keep a Macintosh type coat, a trench coat, a wool coat right.
