Islam merupakan perwujudan aturan hidup yang telah diwahyukan oleh Allah SWT kepada manusia.
Oleh karena itu Islam disebut juga Diinullah. Diin memiliki makna yang berbeda dari agama (milah).
Islam memiliki ciri dan sifat tertentu yang menggambarkan kehidupan manusia secara keseluruhan.
Pemahaman Islam yang dikehendaki Allah dan Rasul-Nya adalah Islam, menyeluruh,
lengkap dan sempurna berdasarkan Al Qur’an dan sebagaimana yang dicontohkan Rasulullah SAW.
Islam merupakan agama para Nabi mulai dari Adam AS sampai Nabi yang terakhir yaitu Nabi Muhammad SAW.
Islam memiliki beberapa makna yang menggambarkan sifat Islam itu sendiri,
antara lain : Islam Diil Al-Anbiya Wal Mursalin, Islam Minhajul Hayah (pedoman hidup),
Ahkamullah fi kitabihi wa sunnah rasulihi (hukum Allah yang ada dalam Al-Qur’an dan As Sunnah),
Ash-shirath al mustaqim (jalan yang lurus) dan Salamah dunia wal akhirat (selamat dunia dan akhirat).
Diharapkan setelah memahami Islam secara menyeluruh kita dapat memperbaiki amal ibadah kita
di dunia sebagai wujud pelaksanaan tujuan kita diciptakan di bumi ini, QS. Adzariyat (51) : 56 Islam embodies a rule of life that has been revealed by Allah to mankind.
Therefore, Islam is also called Diinullah. Deen has a different meaning from religion (out).
Islam has certain characteristics and properties that describes human life as a whole.
Islamic understanding the will of God and His Messenger is Islam, thorough,
complete and perfect based on the Qur'an and as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad.
Islam is the religion of the prophets from Adam to the last Prophet, the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Islam has several meanings that describe the nature of Islam itself,
among others: Islam Diil Al-Anbiya Wal Mursalin, Minhajul Islam hayah (way of life),
Ahkamullah fi kitabihi rasulihi wa Sunnah (the law of God in the Qur'an and Sunnah),
Ash-shirath al mustaqim (the straight path) and Salamah wal world hereafter (congratulations and Hereafter).
