Maranatha Thiruninravur

Maranatha Prayer House is a pentecostal Church located at Thiruninravur, on the outskirts of Chennai, South India. The church was founded by Pastor Lazarus M. Rayappan and some believers, on 20th September 1992, at the dinning hall of Maranatha intermission Children’s home, Thiruninravur. The church began its humble beginning with few families but had a vision to reach local families and surrounding villages. God’s will for the church was confirmed through numerous visions and prophesies and in the year 2000, the church bought its own property and moved into a own new building on december 29th same year. The Church has grown ever since and God has been moving mightily in our worship services and through all the ministries His Word has been fulfilled through many miracles and many hindu families coming to the Lord from in and around neighboring villages like Nadukuthagai, Veppampattu etc. Presently, there are about 100 families with more than 300 members regularly attending worship services at our Church. Our Church has expanded its horizons into Tamil worship services, Sunday School programs, Evening Worship services at Nadukuthagai amp; Veppapattu, English Worship Service (EWS) , Bible Study fellowships, Women’s fellowships, outreach programs and various others programs to provide opportunities for believers to involve and participate.
