The British Overseas Territory of the Falkland Islands (Falkland Islands) is a dependent and non-self-governing territory under the United Kingdom, covering the entire Falkland Islands archipelago, located in the south-west Atlantic Ocean, in the south-eastern South America. The capital is denominated in English Stanley, but in Spanish it is also referred to as Puerto Argentino or Puerto Stanley.
