Maithili Sahitya Sansthan aims at research and publication. Since 1969, Maithili Sahitya Sansthan, a cultural cum intellectual organization has continuously been working in this direction. Intellectuals such as historians, archaeologists, social scientists, litterateurs, educationists, journalists, judicial, etc. have been associated with this institution. We started to publish a Maithili research journal named Mithila Bharati. This is the only research journal in Maithili language. The institution conducts meetings and seminars every fortnight.
