Lock Phone

A simple application to lock your device with a single touch, and prevent you from wearing out your lock key.

Select the application from your application drawer and put it on your home screen.

This has been tested on the following devices:
- Galaxy S3 phone and Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet running Android 4.0.
- Nexus 7 tablet running Android 4.1.

Notes
1) This app requires a plugin application called Secure Settings. When you first run the app, you will be asked if you want to retrieve this plugin from Google Play (see screen shot). Please select "ok".

2) The Secure Settings plugin requires device administrator privilege to be able to lock the screen. After installing, please activate device administrator privilege for the Secure Settings plugin by going to Settings>Security>Device Administrators, and ticking the check box for Secure Settings (see screen shot).

3) If you get an error message when running the application (see screen shot) this will be because device administrator privilege has not been granted. Please follow note (2) above.

4) There is a known problem with Android version 4.0 where the screen turns off and then on again, which has been fixed in Android version 4.1. If you have lock security set (e.g. PIN), the lock screen will be displayed when the screen switches back on.
