Durante su carrera ha grabado más de 36 álbumes en Argentina, Perú, Chile, Colombia, España y México. Su afición por la música mexicana lo llevó a grabar con mariachi, lo que contribuyó a su fama internacional. Entre sus grandes composiciones figuran más de mil temas que están inscritos en el registro de autores y compositores.
