LDS Ordenanzas

Las ordenanzas del sacerdocio son actos sagrados dados por el Señor y se efectúan por medio de la autoridad del sacerdocio. Las bendiciones del sacerdocio se dan por medio de esta autoridad del sacerdocio y tienen el propósito de sanar, consolar y alentar a los demás. Los hermanos que efectúan las ordenanzas y bendiciones deben prepararse para ello por medio de una vida que esté en armonía con los principios del Evangelio y de un esfuerzo sincero por obtener la guía del Espíritu Santo. Deben llevar a cabo toda ordenanza y bendición de una manera dignificante. Las ordenanzas y bendiciones deben cumplir con los requisitos que se dan a continuación; la ordenanza debe:

1. Efectuarse en el nombre de Jesucristo.
2. Efectuarse por la autoridad del sacerdocio.
3. Efectuarse siguiendo todas las pautas precisas; por ejemplo, seguir las palabras prefijadas para la ordenanza o utilizar aceite consagrado para las bendiciones de salud.
4. Cuando sea necesario, debe ser autorizada por el líder del sacerdocio que posea las llaves apropiadas.

Las ordenanzas que requieren autorización de los líderes del sacerdocio son las siguientes: dar nombre y bendecir a los niños, realizar bautismos y confirmaciones, conferir el sacerdocio y ordenar a un oficio del sacerdocio, bendecir y repartir la Santa Cena y dedicar sepulcros.

2. performed by priesthood authority.
3. made following all precise guidelines; for example, follow the preset words to the ordinance or using consecrated oil for the blessings of health.
4. Where necessary, it must be authorized by the priesthood leader who holds the proper keys.

Ordinances that require authorization from priesthood leaders are: naming and blessing children, performing baptisms and confirmations, conferring the priesthood and ordain a priesthood office, blessing and passing the sacrament, and dedicating graves.
