Labyrinth is a new take on the puzzle platformer. The goal is simple: use Project Tango motion tracking to explore a dynamic 3D maze with obstacles, doors, and movable platforms.
Controls/Features:
- Teleportation doors, where green is active and red is inactive
- Power spheres which activate pedestals. The player can pick up spheres by centering the crosshairs on the sphere and touching and holding the screen
- Pedestals which activate/deactivate platforms or doors
- Blue switches that activate one set of doors and deactivate another
- A freeze button (bottom left) that will freeze the game while you reposition yourself in the real world. For best performance, try not to rotate the tablet during freeze mode.
- A reset button (bottom right) that will take you to the beginning of your current puzzle
- For the prototype version only: numbered “cheat” buttons on the top right corresponding to each of the 5 checkpoints (checkpoint 0 is the start)
There are still some bugs (like you can get stuck in walls). Eventually we will add true branching level design and seed-based map generation.
