Jasmine Renner

Dr. Jasmine Renner is a mom, a wife, an international speaker, author, social entrepreneur, educator and consultant. She is a Fulbright Specialist Scholar and recently received the 2015 Carnegie Diaspora Fellows Award from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. She was selected to be a 2014 Maxine Smith Fellow by the Tennessee Board of Regents and is currently a tenured Full Professor at the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tennessee State University.

She is also the Director of Development and International outreaches at an international non profit organization, Develop Africa Inc and is the founder and CEO of a global leadership consulting firm; the Cross Cultural Leadership Network. She is a prolific writer and the author of twelve books including five children's fiction books on leadership and character- building. She is also the author of several audio books that can be purchased from Amazon’s audible.com. Her books have been translated into four different languages namely; Spanish, French, Swahili and English. She is the recipient of the 2014 Outstanding Research Award by the Clemmer College of Education at East Tennessee State University, the 2011, recipient of the Best Paper Award by the International Conference on the Administration of Higher Education and the 2012 recipient of the Excellence of Presentation Award. She is a dedicated mom and wife and creative practitioner who lives with her husband and five and a half year old son in Johnson City, Tennessee, USA.
